<p>PURPOSE: An apparatus for sorting articles is provided to laterally press articles in predetermined position, prevent articles from being jammed in a shoe, and improve sorting efficiency. CONSTITUTION: An apparatus for sorting articles(10) comprises a rotating device, a single transmission chain(14), a plurality of slats(18), a shoe(20), and a detector. The single transmission chain is circulated along a carrier path of the articles by the rotating device. The slats are attached to the single transmission chain, circulated along the carrier path of the articles, and carried the loaded articles. The shoe is attached to the slats and presses the articles by moving along the slats. The detector is formed in a moving path of a detection plate(60) and detects the pass of the articles.</p> |
