摘要 PURPOSE: A position holding system and method of a floating structure using marine geographic information database is provided to decide risk factors through marine geographic information database by a control unit so that a floating structure is moved. CONSTITUTION: A position holding system and method of a floating structure using the marine geographic information database comprises an operation unit(120), a database(130), a propulsion unit(140), a measurement unit(150), and a control unit(110). The operation unit generates an operation command to perform a position holding operation through a manipulation of a user. The database saves information related to an environment of the expected position spot of the non-floating attainment structure. The propulsion unit generates a driving force for holing or changing the position of the floating structure. The measurement unit forms one or more measuring information related to the position holding of the floating structure. The control unit decides the existence of the risk factors at a current POSITION through the marine geographic information database, thereby controlling the propulsion unit.
