PURPOSE:To make the relations with cities other than representative cities easy to see by providing a display part consisting of regions of various places of the world or the standard times, city names, etc. of cities and a display part of the world map indicating the locations of regions or cities and color-displaying one of the display parts. CONSTITUTION:A liquid crystal display part 1 displaying standard times 3 and characters 4 of city names and a liquid crystal display part 2 displaying locations 5, 6 of regions or cities are divided by a partition 7. In the liquid crystal display part 2, a world map 5 is drawn on the inside surface of its display cell or the reflecting plate on the back and electrodes displaying the locations 6 are formed in the liquid crystal display part 2. The liquid crystal material which comprises dissolving multichromatic dyes as a guest into liquid crystal material as a host and causes field deformation effect when applied with voltages and color displaying is put in, e.g., the liquid crystal display part 2. The portions of the locations 6 are flash or fix displayed by the complementary color of the abovementioned color display or dropout of white color. |
