PURPOSE: A method for handling errors during device boot-up from a non-volatile memory is provided to use an error log, thereby correcting detected errors. CONSTITUTION: An NVM(Non-Volatile Memory) driver determines whether at least one fatal error is detected during a device boot-up(320). The error can occur while a device is booted up. If the error is fatal, the NVM driver discards at least one block related to fatal errors(322). If the error is not fatal, the NVM driver transfers data stored in at least one block related to non fatal errors(324). |
