MOBILE TERMINAL AND METHOD FOR CONTROLLING THE SAME

PURPOSE: A mobile terminal and a control method thereof are provided to identify object information which is included in a current augmented reality image. CONSTITUTION: A memory(160) stores map data including object information. A location information unit(115) recognizes the current location of a mobile terminal(100). A display unit(151) displays a preview image of a camera. A control unit(180) searches for object information within the preview image of map data based on the current location of the mobile terminal. The control unit controls the display operation of the preview image.
