ROTARY TYPE MICROWAVE HEATING APPARATUS

PURPOSE: A rotary microwave kiln is provided to obtain a flat and high combustion rate of quicklime by evenly irradiating microwave and rotating 360deg. CONSTITUTION: A rotary microwave kiln(100) comprises a cavity(10) forming a tightly shut space which irradiates microwave, a microwave generator(20) which irradiates microwave inside the cavity, a heating unit(30) installing inside the cavity as rotatable which offers a furnace chamber(31) of a carbonate mineral, a furnaced-body feeder which successively supplies the carbonate mineral to the heating unit, a heating-unit rotating apparatus(50) which offers power for rotation of the heating unit, and a control unit which controls a supply quantity of the carbonate mineral and a rotation speed of the heating unit. The heating unit is composed of a silicon carbide or a silicon nitride which is self-heated by irradiation of the microwave.
