PURPOSE: A device for detecting downward motion of a bucket of CDQ(Coke Dry Quenching) equipment is provided to prevent accidents by stopping a crane when a bucket continuously descends over a set position. CONSTITUTION: A device for detecting downward motion of a bucket of CDQ equipment comprises a detection unit which is installed on one side of a charge chute arranged on the upper side of a CDQ chamber and detects descent of a bucket over a reference position. The detection unit comprises a bracket(12) which is installed on the side of the charge chute, guide members(14,16), a moving bar(20) which is installed on the guide members and pressed by a bucket, and a sensor part which detects the movement of the moving bar. |
