PURPOSE: An electro-photographic photo-sensitive element, a process cartridge, and an image forming device are provided to suppress the remaining potential increase of the photo-sensitive element and to expand the life expectancy of the photo-sensitive element. CONSTITUTION: An electro-photographic photo-sensitive element includes a conductive support and a photo-sensitive layer. The photo-sensitive layer is arranged on the conductive support. The photo-sensitive layer includes a first functional layer containing compound represented by chemical formula I. In chemical formula I, the F is n-valent organic group with hole transport property; the R1, the R2, and the R3 are respectively hydrogen element, halogen element, or monovalent organic group; the L is divalent organic group; the n is the integer of 1 to 4; and the j is 0 or 1.
