PURPOSE: A transmission system harmonic wave emission limit evaluation system and a method thereof are provided to rapidly evaluate and manage a harmonic wave emission limit of a consumer by a user. CONSTITUTION: A transmission system harmonic wave emission limit evaluation system comprises a capacity comparison part(100), a consumer harmonic wave overflow limit value measurement part(200), and a comparison part(300) of a consumer harmonic wave estimation value and a harmonic wave overflow limit value. The capacity comparison part compares a short-circuit capacity of a system and a harmonic wave load capacity of a consumer. The consumer harmonic wave overflow limit value measurement part measures a harmonic wave overflow limit value when the harmonic wave load capacity is greater than 0.1 percent of the short-circuit capacity. The comparison part compares a consumer harmonic wave overflow estimation value and a consumer harmonic wave overflow limit value. The comparison part requests a harmonic wave reduction measure when the consumer harmonic wave overflow estimation value exceeds the consumer harmonic wave overflow limit value.
