PURPOSE: A manhole cover using a composite material and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to prevent corrosion by molding a composite material using a BMC molding method. CONSTITUTION: A manhole cover(10) using a composite material comprises rugged protrusions, separated grooves, high reinforcements, low reinforcements, a space(17), and composite reinforcing wires(18). The rugged protrusions are arranged on the surface of the manhole cover and prevent slipping. The separated grooves are formed in both sides of the manhole cover to detachably couple the manhole cover to a cover fixing frame. The high and lower reinforcements are vertically and horizontally installed in the inner edge of the manhole cover. The space is formed between the high and lower reinforcements. The composite reinforcing wires are formed inside the high and lower reinforcements. |
