COOLING SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR CONTROLLING DEFROST THEREOF

PURPOSE: A cooling system and a defrosting control method thereof are provided to detect frost in a same environment condition and perform a temperature compensation corresponding to temperature of a driving board controlling driving of frost detecting device. CONSTITUTION: A cooling system comprises an evaporator, a frost sensing unit(170), and a controlling device(190). The evaporator heat exchanges the air. The frost detecting device is installed in the evaporator, thereby detecting frost. A detection time is set up in the controlling device. The controlling device controls driving of the frost detecting device at the detection time and defrosting based on signals transmitted from the frost detecting device.
