PURPOSE: A medicine box and a medicine management method are provided to manage medicine according to the state of medicine and to prevent a user from taking deteriorated medicine. CONSTITUTION: A medicine box comprises a storage unit(110) which stores medicine, an image acquisition unit(120) which takes a picture of objects, an input unit(160), and a controller(190). The controller obtains a first image which is the reference for determining the state of medicine and a second image of medicine, compares the first image with the second image, determines whether the medicine is deteriorated or not, and discharges, keeps, or discards the medicine in consideration of the determination result.
