The invention relates to main safety devices of a line of drives of rolling mill stands. A safety spindle of a roll stand drive comprises a wobbler head with a tapered shaft mounted with an interference fit in a conical hole of a sleeve of the second wobbler head, which ends are equipped with cams that interact at rotation of the shaft relative to the sleeve. In the wobbler head with a tapered shaft a coaxial aperture is made, in which a piston is mounted which has a rod equipped with an elastic element and a cover flange located with possibility to interact with the end of the second wobbler head. The elastic element is designed as a spring. The invention allows restoring functionality of the safety spindle after its actuation directly in the line of the drive of the roll stand (i.e., without removing and re-assembly), that reduces the recovery time by 5-6 times, and reduces the cost of recovery. |
