METHOD for increasing durability of WORKING parts of the earth-moving machinery

A method for improving durability of working parts of the earth-moving machinery includes application at the working part of the multilayer wear resistant coating of TiN-CrN sequentially layer by layer followed by thermal treatment. Preliminary treatment of the treated detail surface is carried out by ion bombardment with chromium ions. Warm-up and activation of the surface is carried out with the following partial deposition of a small amount of chromium. Then, layers of CrN and TiN are consistently sedimented layer by layer at the working surface in a nitrogen atmosphere by the sequential powering of appropriate evaporators. The obtained multilayer wear resistant coating of TiN-CrN is applied to the workpiece. Then the working part is heat treated.
