PURPOSE: A method for enabling a user to continuously use content based on a mobile user terminal location and a server thereof are provided to automatically transfer multimedia content used in a fixed terminal to a mobile terminal, thereby enabling a user to continuously use the multimedia content. CONSTITUTION: A service stoppage monitoring unit(230) determines stoppage of content reproduction. A continuous usage information message transceiving unit(240) transmits a continuous usage information message for reproduction-stopped content to a second terminal. A continual usage management unit(220) determines whether to continuously supply the content to the second terminal. A content providing unit(260) provides the content to the second terminal according to the determination result.
