An image reconstruction method by fractional data located on two pairs of mutually perpendicular bands where the object image is located in the determinate order, and an input matrix is formed so that on known bands it contains information on preset pixel values and zeros where the image is to be restored, and the initial image synthesis is performed in the following manner: at first elements of the last line of the first band and the first line of the second band are selected, and by means of point-to-point Hermite interpolation the initial image is received.
