A process for the preparation of 1,4-dihydroimidazo[4,5-c]pyrazoles from N-substituted-5-aminopyrazole by base cyclization of intermediate products of general formula:wherein R1, R2, R3, R4 = alkyl, aryl, H. N-substituted-5-aminopyrazole reacts with corresponding imidoylchloride in organic solvent at room temperature. The imidamides prepared are subjected to interaction with N-bromosuccinimide in organic solvent at boiling temperature and 4-bromo5-carboxyimidamides are prepared, these are cyclized to desired compounds in the presence of copper compounds and inorganic base in organic solvent at boiling. Isolation and purification of intermediates is carried out by conventional methods. |
