摘要 PURPOSE: An operation element for a magnetic heat exchange and a method for manufacturing an operation element for magnetic refrigeration are provided to prevent a crack of the operation element. CONSTITUTION: An operation element for a magnetic heat exchange includes a magnetocalorically active phase. The magnetocalorically active phase includes La1-aRa(Fe1-x-yTyMx)13Hz. A hydrogen content z is 90% of hydrogen saturation value zsat or more. The a, x, and y are selected to provide a query temperature Tc. M is one or more elements of a group of Si and Al. T is one or more elements of a group of Co, Ni, Mn, Cr, Cu, Ti, and V. R is one or more elements of a group of Ce, Nd, Y and Pr. Tcmax is a query temperature of La1-aRa(Fe1-x-yTyMx)13Hz. The operation element has the Tc which satisfies (Tcmax - Tc) <= 20K.
