PURPOSE: A refrigerator is provided to improve the reliability of a refrigerator by having a damper device for a vegetable box in which freeze is prevented. CONSTITUTION: A refrigerator comprises a vegetable box(6), a container, an cold air outlet of a vegetable box(10a), and a damper device(11). The vegetable box is partitioned by an insulating partition wall. The container is installed in the vegetable box. The cold air outlet of the vegetable box formed as a rear part of the vegetable box's upper part is installed in the rear side of the container's rear wall. The damper device is installed in the cold air outlet of the vegetable box, thereby controlling the cold air supply to the vegetable box. The damper device comprises a damper case(21) and a damper case cover(23). The damper case comprises a flapper(20) which opens and closes a cold air path. The damper case cover covers the damper case.
