发明名称 METHOD AND DEVICE FOR ANALOG-TO-DIGITAL CONVERSION
摘要 The invention relates to digital measurement and computing technique and can be used for conversion of analog quantities to digital ones. A method for analog-to-digital conversion consists in that at each i-th clock cycle a compensation balance signal is shaped and compared to an input analog signal. According to results of comparison of all cycles creation of excess positional system output code is made. The method is characterized in that in every i-th cycle of conversion together with compensation signals additional force signals are used. The compensation signal for i-th cycle is shaped as a sum of corresponding reference signals and i-th force signal providing that length of balance cycles is set inversely proportional to said weight orders so that next cycle is by α times longer in comparison to previous one, where α - relation between weights of the adjacent orders. The technical result consists in providing variable cycle length of digit balance and corresponding decrease of total time of balancing that shall raise the device performance and extend the scope of use thereof.
