METHOD FOR PREDICTING COURSE OF ACUTE PANCREATITIS AND DEVELOPMENT OF ITS COMPLICATIONS

A method for predicting the course of the acute pancreatitis and development of its complications comprises the detection of polymorphism of R122H gene responsible for the synthesis of cationic trypsinogen. The verification of R122H- and H122H-genotypes is indicative of the severe clinical course of the disease.
