PURPOSE: A solid oxide fuel cell is provided to include a modified support layer which can reform hydrocarbon fuel, thereby reducing volume and weight of whole fuel system. CONSTITUTION: A solid oxide fuel cell(100) comprises a reforming support layer(110) which has a tube shape and reforms fuel supplied inside, a fuel electrode(120) formed outside of the reforming support layer, an electrolyte(130) formed outside of the fuel electrode, and an air electrode(140) formed outside of the electrolyte. Cross section of the reforming support layer has one of the following shapes: circle, flat pipe type, triangle, square, or hexagon. The fuel is hydrocarbon based. The solid oxide fuel cell additionally includes fuel electrode functional layer which is formed in between the fuel electrode and the electrolyte. |
