PURPOSE: A porous plug is provided to allow a worker to easily confirm replacement time because the opening of a closed end of a gas pipe is recognized from the decrease of pressure in an accumulation tank. CONSTITUTION: A porous plug comprises a main body(100), a gas pipe(110), a residue checking gas pipe(120), an accumulation tank(130), and a pressure gauge(140). The main body has a plurality of pores. The gas pipe and the residue checking gas pipe are inserted into the under side of the main body. The gas pipe is used for injecting inert gas. The residue checking gas pipe has a closed end(121) which is melted and opened with the grinding burn of the main body. The accumulation tank is connected to the residue checking gas pipe and receives inert gas at a fixed pressure from a gas source. The pressure gauge is installed in the accumulation tank and indicates the internal pressure of the accumulation tank.
