PURPOSE: A structural material for construction is provided to ensure reduced weight with the same physical properties as the existing H-beam by employing a horizontal part bent in a repetitive pattern. CONSTITUTION: A structural material for construction is configured as follows. Vertical parts(13) are integrally formed on the right and left sides of a horizontal part(11) into an H-shape. The horizontal part is repetitively bent in a zigzag pattern and has a plurality of holes(17) at regular intervals in a longitudinal direction.
