PURPOSE: A valve actuator with a corrosion resistance improved by pulse anodizing and a surface treatment method for the same are provided to improve the corrosion resistance of a valve actuator by restricting pitting on aluminum oxide coating. CONSTITUTION: A valve actuator comprises an aluminum alloy casing molded through die casting. Aluminum oxide coating is formed on the surface of the aluminum alloy casing by letting aluminum oxide nucleus uniformly grow through pulse anodizing using square pulse current.
