FIELD: metallurgy. ^ SUBSTANCE: method involves application of three-layered coating by means of vacuum arc method. At that, as bottom layer at pressure of acetylene in the chamber of 7.510-4 Pa and temperature of 600C there applied is titanium and zirconium carbonitride. As intermediate layer at pressure of acetylene in the chamber of 7.510-4 Pa and temperature of 550C there applied is the above carbonitride alloyed with aluminium. As top layer at pressure of acetylene in the chamber of 4.310-3 Pa and temperature of 500C there applied is titanium and aluminium carbonitride. ^ EFFECT: increasing operability of cutting tool and improving treatment quality. ^ 1 tbl |
