PURPOSE:To simplify the construction and to make small the size and light the weight and broad in range, by using a waveguide which is at cut-off range in local oscillating frequencies and at transmission range in signal frequencies. CONSTITUTION:When the signal frequency fs is higher than the frequency fLO of the local oscillating circuit, the power of the local oscillating circuit passes through a BPF2 provided to the line 1, but it is reflected on the waveguide 8 cut off at local oscillating frequencies and not coupled with a signal line 3. On the other hand, the cut-off frequency of the waveguide tube 8 is lowered that the signal frequency, allowing the signal power to pass without attenuation. Thus, it passes through the signal line 3 and also taper 9, waveguide 8 cutting off the power of local oscillation circuit, step 10, and waveguide 11 mounted with a mixer diode 5 in order, and it is reflected at BPF2 and fed to a diode 5. Thus, the construction is simplified and the size is made small and the weight is made light, allowing broad band. |
