FIELD: process engineering. ^ SUBSTANCE: invention relates to powder metallurgy, particularly, to production of cutting tools from hard alloys. Proposed tool either is made entirely from solid alloy or is provided with plates from hard alloy consisting of grains of hard refractory elements, sized to 1-3 mcm, bonded by metal.
