PURPOSE: A three-dimensional image display apparatus is provided to reduce an aperture ratio while displaying a two-dimensional image and prevent brightness degradation. CONSTITUTION: The three-dimensional image display apparatus includes an image panel(100) and a barrier cell(200). The image panel projects a two-dimensional image to an upper side. The barrier cell is located on the image panel and operated by distinguishing a white region and a black region while applying voltage. The barrier cell includes an electrode corresponding to the black region of a single substrate. The barrier cell comprises a first substrate(110), a second substrate(120), a first electrode(211), a second electrode(221), and a liquid crystal layer. The first substrate and the second substrate are facing to each other. The first electrode is arranged on the black region of the first substrate. The second electrode is arranged on the black region of the second substrate. The liquid crystal layer is arranged between the first substrate and the second substrate.
