PURPOSE: A silicon powder complex particle and a cosmetic composition containing the same are provided to improve molding property and to express natural make up effect. CONSTITUTION: A silicon powder complex particle(10) contains a core(11) formed of silicon powder and a shell(17) which covers the core and formed of a complex. The complex is coated with silicon resin on the surface of organic powder. The average particle size of silicon powder 3-100um. The organic powder is mica, synthetic mica, sericite, talcum, complex-silicate, clay, synthetic clay, silica, aluminum oxide, barium sulphate, titanium dioxide, hydroxyapatite, or mixture thereof. The silicon resin is poly methyl silsequioxane. A cosmetic composition contains the silicon powder complex particles.
