PURPOSE: A locking device for a manhole cover is provided to prevent loss and neglect accident by preventing a clearance from occurring on a tightened part and enable easy opening of a manhole cover fixed by a locking device in repair. CONSTITUTION: A locking device for a manhole cover is as follows. The rotation of an actuating plate(20) rotating by an adjusting bolt(16) formed on a manhole cover(10) is controlled by the hanging portion(28) of the actuating plate and the control protrusion of a first reinforcing member. The actuating plate, a connecting plate(23), and a locking bar(26) are interlocked by the operation of the adjusting bolt. The linear movement of the adjusting bolt is transferred to the connecting plate and the actuating plate connected to the locking bar as rotating movement. |
