PURPOSE: An automatic wastewater treating apparatus and a wastewater treating method using the same are provided to clean a filter for a short period of time by spraying cleaning liquid of high pressure using a cleaning unit. CONSTITUTION: An automatic wastewater treating apparatus includes a base(2), a tank(3), a filter(4), a water bath(5), a filtering member supplying unit(6), a supplying pipe(7), a supplying pump(8), a discharging pip(9), a by-pass pipe(10), a discharging pump(11), an introducing pipe(12), a first automatic valve(13), a second automatic valve(14), a third automatic valve(15), a fourth automatic valve(16), a cleaning unit(17), a draining pipe(18), and a controller(19). Water bath stores water and a filtering medium(A). The supplying pipe supplies wastewater into a containing space(3a). The cleaning unit sprays cleaning liquid of high pressure to the surface of the filter to eliminate sludge and waste filtering medium absorbed on the surface of the filter. The introducing pipe introduces water and filtering medium to the supplying pipe. The automatic valves open or close the supplying pipe, the discharging pipe, the by-pass pipe, and the introducing pipe. |
