PURPOSE: A mobile terminal and an operation control method thereof are provided to generate brain harmony information which shows a mental state of a user and a mental state harmony degree of another terminal user. CONSTITUTION: A control unit receives brainwave information about another terminal user(S305). The control unit generates brain harmony information by comparing brainwave information of the user with the brainwave information of another user(S310). The control unit stores the generated brain harmony information in a memory(S315). The control unit controls an operation related to another terminal in connection with the generated brain harmony information(S320).
