HORN ANTENNA OF USING ELECTROMAGNETIC BAND GAP STRUCTURE

PURPOSE: A horn antenna using an EBG(Electromagnetic Band Gap) structure is provided to easily combine an EBG substrate with the radiator by arranging a bonding groove in the radiator. CONSTITUTION: A horn antenna using an EBG(Electromagnetic Band Gap) structure comprises a EBG substrate(10) formed into an EBG structure and a radiator(20) combined with an EBG substrate. The radiator is combined with a plurality of EBG substrates. One EBG substrate is combined with an upper side in the radiator. The other EBG substrate is combined with a lower side in the radiator. A side lobe reduces by combining the EBG substrate with the radiator. A bonding groove is formed in inner upper and lower sides of the radiator.
