<p>PURPOSE: A portable terminal is provided to slim a display unit without a touch screen panel made of an expensive X axis ITO film and a Y axis ITO film between a reinforced glass and an LCD module. CONSTITUTION: A display unit(20) is set in a tom housing(10). A microcomputer controls icons and screens on the display unit. The microcomputer is mounted on a main board(60). A bottom housing(70) faces the main board. A touch panel(80) is provided to the bottom housing to send a selecting signal and an acting signal to the microcomputer to control selection and execution of the icons.</p>
