<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compact and inexpensive tactile presentation device capable of not only presenting a tactile sense to a living body with acoustic pressure of ultrasonic waves but also detecting a position of the living body. <P>SOLUTION: A tactile presentation device 100 having a plurality of first ultrasonic elements 21 which oscillate a first ultrasonic wave arranged on a substrate 20a presents a tactile sense by: generating a concentration point of acoustic pressure of the first ultrasonic wave at an upper tactile sense presentation position P1 by oscillating at least a part of the plurality of ultrasonic elements at the same time; and stimulating a tactile sense receptor on a skin of a living body 51 by the acoustic pressure. A position detection element pair to detect a position of the living body 51 is configured by a second ultrasonic element 22 to oscillate a pulse-modulated second ultrasonic wave and a third ultrasonic element 23 to receive the second ultrasonic wave reflected from the living body 51. An ultrasonic element panel 20 is configured by arranging the second ultrasonic element 22 and the third ultrasonic element 23 on the substrate 20a together with the first ultrasonic element 21. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
