<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a needle guard mechanism for protecting a user and another person from the sharpened tip of a needle after drawn out of a patient. <P>SOLUTION: A clip is equipped with a first wall (16), a second wall (20) and the struts (24 and 26) for connecting the first and second walls. The second wall is formed into an L-shape as a whole and an integral lip (36) is formed to the free end thereof. The lip has a coining processing place which prescribes a stylus (38) constituted so as to be capable of coming into contact with a needle shaft in the first state of the clip allowing the needle shaft to pierce, so that the lip functions so as to close a needle tip in the second state of the clip grasping the needle shaft therein. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
