<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electromagnet device. <P>SOLUTION: The electromagnet device includes: a ferromagnetic flux guide; an insulated electric conductor positioned adjacent to the flux guide; and an intermediate support structure which is positioned between the flux guide and the conductor and includes at least one elastically deformable member arranged to allow relative movement between the flux guide and the conductor.
