<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently develop a program while improving the speed of installation. <P>SOLUTION: This installation method is a method for installing a program in a computer including a processing unit and a nonvolatile storage unit, using an installation data. At least the installation data separately includes: a program module as an installer; an installation object file as an object to be installed in the storage unit; and a setting file, or a list of the installation object files, described with installation destinations of the installation object files in the storage unit.
