<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a game machine allowing a game player to easily continue a game. <P>SOLUTION: When a short time state is terminated without obtaining a "jackpot" in a variable display result in a presentation mode of a mode J, a presentation mode becomes a presentation mode of a mode M.
