<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a synthetic resin container capable of steadily achieving the appropriate engagement of a container body with a lid body, or fitting strength between them even if there is some dimensional variation between the container body and the lid body with respect to the synthetic resin container of a type in which the lid body is fitted. <P>SOLUTION: The container body 10 has an open end 13 at its uppermost end of approximately ring-like shape in a plan view while the lid body 30 has an annular engagement part 33 capable of being engaged with the open end of the container body. Along the whole of the outside of the periphery of the open end part 13 of the container body, a curled part 15 is reversely formed so as to be curved downward and inward in a direction toward a sidewall 12 of the container body. At least along the outer edge of the curled part 15, there are formed concave or convex forming areas 16 composed of a plurality of recesses or protrusions, and concave or convex non-forming areas 17 having no recesses or protrusions, and both areas 16, 17 are alternately allocated along the peripheral direction of the curled part 15. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
