MARKER AND METHOD FOR CERVIX UTERI CANCER SCREENING

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a marker for screening of a cervix uteri cancer onset high-risk group with abnormal methylation of DNA as an indicator; and a method for screening the cervix uteri cancer onset high-risk group by detecting the marker.

SOLUTION: MIK1 and MIK2 are genes whose DNAs are methylated in a CpG region in a promoter region, and MIK3 is a gene whose DNA is demethylated in the CpG region in the promoter region. Any of these genes are used as markers. Cervix uteri cancer is screened by detecting any of these markers.
