<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of manufacturing a separation membrane support, made of a nonwoven fabric which has a superior film-forming property provided when supporting the separation membrane, has a superior processing property provided when manufacturing fluid separation element and, additionally, has an excellent mechanical strength, and to provide a separation membrane and a fluid separation element using the separation membrane support. <P>SOLUTION: The method of manufacturing separation membrane support includes a process of subjecting the nonwoven fabric to thermocompression by the use of at least two flat rollers, wherein the flat rollers consist of a combination of metallic rollers and elastic rollers, the elastic roller has a hardness (Shore D) of 70 to 99 and the nonwoven fabrics stacked in 2 to 5 layers are preferably subjected to thermocompression to be integrated. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
