<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a showcase which gives voice of information about individual merchandise from a sound generation device near the merchandise when a plurality of kinds of merchandise are displayed. <P>SOLUTION: The showcase 1 displays the plurality of kinds of merchandise 20-22 so as to be adjacent to each other, and includes voice generating devices 4a-4c disposed respectively in areas A1-A3 where merchandise 20-22 are displayed. Each of voice generating devices 4a-4c generates voice of information on the merchandise 20-22 displayed in areas where the voice generating devices 4a-4c are disposed. Sensors 6a-6c to detect an approaching of a person are disposed respectively in the areas A1-A3.
