The device has an analog/digital conversion detecting circuit connected with an LED light fitting load to detect a straight-forward bias voltage value of an LED array. A calculation control unit i.e. micro-processing unit, is connected with the conversion detecting circuit to evaluate and calculate an output current value of the straight-forward bias voltage value output by the conversion detecting circuit. A power supply circuit supplies required working power supply to the conversion detecting circuit, the control unit and a digital/analog conversion control circuit. . An independent claim is also included for an LED output power adjusting method.
