The endoscope (2) has a viewing window (3) arranged at a distal end of the endoscope, and two lines (4, 6) for transporting fluid i.e. saline solution (L), and gaseous fluid (G), respectively to the distal end of the endoscope. The lines comprise discharge openings (8, 10) i.e. nozzles, for the fluid in such a manner that the emergent fluid is guided to an outer side of the viewing window. The fluid is discharged from the discharge openings in a direction of flow components aligned to the outer side of the viewing window. An independent claim is also included for an endoscopic device comprising an endoscope.
