PURPOSE: A system for providing a service based on a touch screen and a method thereof are provided to supply a service based on a touch screen using an IMS based standard device. CONSTITUTION: An application server(310) sets a call with a user terminal(100) including a touch input interface using an IMS(IP Multimedia Subsystem) call session control protocol. A media server(330) sets a media channel with the user terminal using the IMS call session control protocol. The media server transmits a touch screen and a media content file to the user terminal through the media channel by a media reproducing command of the application server.
