<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To display speed information having as reference the position of a visual point relating to a three-dimensional image. <P>SOLUTION: A three-dimensional data creating section 40 combines echo data obtained from three three-dimensional probes 11, 12 and 13 for each coordinate within data space and obtains a three-dimensional speed vector. A lay setting section 52 sets a plurality of lays passing through data space from a visual point. A voxel value calculating section 50 calculates a speed value and luminance value for each voxel, in terms of a plurality of voxels arranged along the corresponding set lays. The lay direction component of the speed vector corresponding to the voxel is calculated as the speed value of each voxel. When the speed value and luminance value for each of the voxels arranged along the corresponding lays are calculated, a rendering operation for each lay is performed using the speed and luminance values in a rendering processing section 60. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
