<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light-emitting body capable of guiding light without restriction of the thickness of a light guide body and without light emission unevenness, and to provide a heating cooker which is equipped with the light-emitting body and in which the heating part equipped with it can be captured visually. <P>SOLUTION: The light-emitting body is constituted of a light source and a light guide body to guide the light. The light guide body has a light incident part in order to make the light incident from the light source; and both parts of a light diffusing part in which at least on the upper face of the light guide body, a roughened face is formed in order to radiate the light incident to the light guide body to the outside and a light reflecting part in which a flat face is formed in order to propagate the light made incident to the light guide body in the interior of the light guide body. Both the parts are installed in order that a border line between the light diffusion part and the light reflecting part may serve as a light propagation direction.
