<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a terminal fitting capable of suppressing increase of shear fracture of a lance due to downsizing to improve holding force. <P>SOLUTION: A terminal fitting 15 is mounted in a terminal housing chamber by being engaged by an resiliently deformable lance provided in the terminal housing chamber which is formed in a connector housing.
